What a capsule includes
A capsule supports written messages, up to five photos per contribution, audio and video, with a 2 GB capsule storage limit. Per-file limits are 10 MB for photos, 25 MB for audio and 75 MB for video. Opening dates can be selected up to ten years after the event. No physical product or lifetime-storage guarantee is included.
Recipients and minors
Recipients must accept their invitation with the intended email address. A baby shower/newborn capsule must be managed by an adult parent or authorized guardian. The current service does not automatically transfer an adult-managed account to a child.
Scheduled access
Messages become available after the scheduled release is recorded. Email is a notification channel, not the only way to view released messages. Keep recipient addresses current and retain independent copies of irreplaceable originals.
Content and access
Only submit material you have permission to share. Do not upload illegal or abusive content. Keep private receipt and invitation links secure. Sharing a guest link allows others to submit contributions; it does not grant them access to sealed messages.
